Do you think an $1100 TV is too much for a Christmas present?

We have a 40 inch LCD LG, which, in my opinion, is always a good idea, but my boyfriend comes after in his home friends talk about how impressive home his TV (”he has a sony 52″). I have a bonus enough great coming Christmas, so I thought him wonder with a Sony BRAVIA ‘ 52 LCD 1080 s in sales this week best buy. The only thing is we are married in April and is always talking about money money… we are a destination wedding and is relatively cheap… but he suggested that we have a limit of $ 300 (but has spent approximately 4000 dollars last year in the ring my commitment).
I think I should be pi and I would like to go ahead and do it or? Laughing out loud.
